  • £1.78 per bag (charity rate); 50 bags for £89.00

Orders must be a minimum of 50 bags, and deliveries are made in batches of 25 bags (e.g., 50, 75, 100 bags).

There is also an additional annual charge of £40.00 for issuing your waste transfer note.

York City Council permits commercial waste disposal at their Hazel Court Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC).

Charging Scheme:

The charges are based on the total amount of waste disposed of over a month rather than per visit.

  • For less than 500kg of waste, a minimum charge is applied.
  • The charge for more than 500kg is based on the total weight disposed of during the month.

Charges for Non-Recyclable Waste:

  • Up to 500kg: £100.00 (excluding VAT)
  • 1,000kg: £200.00 (excluding VAT)

Charges for Recyclable Waste:

To qualify for a recyclable waste charge, at least 85% of the load must be recyclable and assessed on-site.

  • Up to 500kg: £55.00 (excluding VAT)
  • 1,000kg (1 tonne): £100.00 (excluding VAT)

You must register in advance to dispose of trade waste at this site and you will receive a sticker in the post to use at the site.
